our wedding attires are up for rent!

i'll change the pictures once i get the clearer version from the official photographer.

anyway, i am an average medium sized malay woman (cece average lah sangat), normally wearing M size clothes.
same goes to the husband, also wearing M size clothes.
well, at least for now.

i'm 157cm height with weight around 57kg.
i don't know my husband's height and weight, but his waist is 34".
okay, clearly we both are plump type hihi.

you can choose to rent both bride & groom's attires or either one.

wordless wednesday: gorgeous pelamin!

bantal / alas nikah

i'm renting out my bantal / alas nikah.
i have two, one for the groom and one for the bride.
used only once during my akad nikah ceremony.

they are 35 x 35 inches in size.
the size is bigger than the normal ones that you can find at the wedding boutique.
they are so solid and comfortable enough to comfort you during the akad.

my bantal nikah is one of the items from the wedding yang i sangat cinta.
sangat cinta sebab mereka sangat cantik dan indah.
sangat cinta sebab meraka sangat menepati citarasa saya.

colors: purple for the groom, pink for the bride.

rental price is rm50 for both.

the first renter will get a special price from me.

my wedding dais / pelamin

my wedding dais was such a failure.

again, i made the pelamin by myself.
i rented the stage, the stand chandeliers and the seats.

there are tooooo many things that were not happening as planned.
-i booked a 1-floor stage, but due to some technical problems with the vendor, i've got no choice but to use a 2-floors stage which was actually not suitable with the height of the ceiling and the seaters' size. rental price: rm190 (1-floor stage with white carpet); rm250 (2-floors stage with white carpet)
-the lights from the stand chandeliers were too bright. should have used the lowest watt bulbs for the chandeliers. i've actually asked someone to buy and change the bulbs for me. but last minute task, he just managed to get me 25-watt bulbs which as i said were too bright. rental price: rm250 for 2
-the bunga pahar should have not covering my favorite flower arrangements.
-the feather ribbon on the backdrop was a last-minute decision which was totally a mistake. less is more, the most important principle of almost all things related to wedding.
-i cannot have my pelamin nikah which i actually wanted sooo much especially for photo shooting purpose. for the nikah, the flower arrangements were supposedly different and nicer sebab takde kerusi and the flowers will be as the background.

the only thing that i love about my pelamin was the seats.
i love the seats because it perfectly matched with my wedding theme.
it is classic and most importantly, it's white.
rental price: rm150

there were actually many things that could have been better, but past is past.
although i was not satisfied with everything, i still smile on the wedding day.
yes, all bride-to-be's should have that skill.
it's very important for you to hold any feelings and your dissatisfaction for a while and just enjoy your big day.

so bride-to-be's, i am wishing you all the happiness on the most joyous day of your life.

i love this one too.
it would have been better if they use brown eustoma instead of those champange roses because they said they have no brown eustoma in stock.
but, it still looked gorgeous!

i don't like this bridal bouquet.
i purposely asked for this color because my baju already so bright, so i need lighter colored bouquet to match with the baju.
maybe i don't fancy champange roses, maybe.
or i maybe hate it because the arrangement was not as solid as ones i got from the florist at petaling street.
baby's breath pun kedekut, letak sikit-sikit je.

i am NOT satisfied with this one too.
same case like the previous one, the arrangement was not solid and they should put more purple statice around the bouquet.
kalau macam ni, i buat sendiri pun lagi cantik.

ohh by the way, she ordered bouquets from the same shop for her engagement and wedding.

that one i've got no choice because that's the nearest florist to my house.
and i don't want to trouble anyone to pick up my bridal bouquet during the other two receptions.
ohh anyway, dila went to petaling street on my nikah day to pick up the first two bouquets for me. thanks, dila!

if i knew earlier that my MIL will ask me to buy flowers for the pelamin, i would not have booked those bridal bouquets from canny.
sebab last2 kena pergi jugak pick up bunga untuk pelamin at petaling street! sigh.
